SCHOOL YEAR 2010-2011

SBT seasons feature both intimate Storybook Theatre puppet shows (2-4 performers), and larger shadow puppet productions that utilize multi-ethnic casts of 7-9 actors, singers and dancers. In 2010-2011 we will present the following productions:

October - Halloween Storybook Theatre (Lumpy Bumpy Pumpkin) - October 13-29

November - Thanksgiving Storybook Theatre (Tobias Turkey) - November 9-24

December - Winter Holiday Storybook Theatre (Big Annie) - December 9-23

January/February/March - The African Drum - January 25 - March 4

March/April/May - Little is Big - March 24 - April 28

May - NEW PRODUCTION! Ring Around A Rainbow - May 19 - June 2

Performing venues include the The Theatres at 45 Bleecker Street for all shows,and in addition for the African Drum the Whitman Theatre at Brooklyn College (Brooklyn), Hostos Center for the Arts and Culture (Bronx), the York College Performing Arts Center (Queens), and Snug Harbor Cultural Center (Staten Island).
